Rishabh Pant Shares His Near To Death Experience

Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant, who narrowly escaped a deadly road accident in December 2022 that happened at the Delhi-Dehradun highway, is recovering rapidly and his fans are waiting eagerly to see the explosive left-hander bat again. Rishabh Pant was last seen during the nets session ahead of India vs England first test match at Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi stadium. It is almost 14 months to Rishabh Pant's unfortunate accident but it still scares people whenever discussed, but also tells the story of how miraculously the cricketer escaped it. Recently, the cricketer opened up about the near-death experience.

Recently, Pant opened up about the horrific and near-to-death experience he had during the accident on a show by Star Sports network called Believe, in which, cricketers share their lifetime experiences, lows, and how they made a comeback. The show will be air on Feb 1. In the teaser, dropped by Star Sports, Rishabh Pant can be heard saying: "First time in my life, I felt like my time in this world is up. During the accident, I was aware of the wounds, but I was lucky as it could have been even more serious. I was feeling that someone saved me."

Pant added that he asked the doctors about how long will it take for him to recover, and they gave him a timeline of 16 to 18 months to get fit again. The video shows Pant saying how grateful he is to get a second life.

According to the reports, Rishabh Pant was helped by a bus driver and locals when he met with the accident in 2022. At that time, no one recognized Rishabh Pant. Setting a perfect example of humanity, they helped the victim of a car accident and transported him to a nearby hospital.

Later, Rishabh Pant thanked the people who helped him and emerged as angels to save him.

The left-hander has represented India in 33 tests and 30 ODIs to notch over 3000 runs. He plays for the Delhi Capitals in India Premier League, and fans are hoping that Rishabh Pant will make his comeback this season, which will also help him to place a bet to book a spot in the Indian team for the T20 World Cup slated in June in the USA and the West Indies.
