Not Chicken Biryani Or Shahi Paneer, MS Dhoni Loves This Dish The Most

Ahead of the Rajkot Test between India and England slated to start from February 15 to 19, 2024, the director at Rajkot's Sayaji Hotel, where team India usually stays, said MS Dhoni is a huge fan of Kathiyawadi cuisine. He told the media that former Indian skipper's favourite dish is Khichdi-Kadhi.

The hotel director revealed that KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya also like to eat Khichdi-Kadhi.

For the unversed, MS Dhoni is a die-hard non-veg lover as he has pahadi root (belongs from the hills). He loves butter chicken and has been eating non-veg since the age of 14.

Players from both teams will stay at Sayaji Hotel and special arrangements have been made by the hotel staff to cater players with the best of the services.

According to the reports, a selection of Gujarati and Kathiyawadi delicacies will be served to India and England players in Rajkot. The players will get Fafda-Jalebi, Khakhra, Gathiya, Thepla, and Khman for breakfast, and for lunch and dinner, a variety of Kathiyawadi dishes including Dahi Tikari, Vagherela Rotlo (Bajra Roti fried with yogurt and garlic), and Khichdi Kadhi will be served to the players.

India and England have leveled the scores with one victory each in their bags in the five-match series. At the Rajkot Stadium, famous for high-scoring games, both the teams would eye to double their leads and try to create dominance.
