Kuldeep Yadav In Heated Exchange With Rohit Sharma Amid IND-ENG World Cup Match| Watch

On occasions, reviews in cricket can be a fickle matter. Bowlers and wicket-keepers often find themselves under the spotlight when it comes to Decision Review System (DRS) calls. India has generally been proficient with their DRS usage, but in a yesterday's, 29th October, World Cup clash against England, a decision left skipper Rohit Sharma somewhat vexed.

In the 22nd over of the innings, Kuldeep Yadav had Liam Livingstone plumb in front of the stumps. Surprisingly, the on-field umpire didn't raise his finger. India still had two reviews at their disposal, but they chose not to challenge the decision. Kuldeep himself was uncertain about whether it was worth reviewing. Subsequent replays revealed that the ball was, in fact, crashing into the stumps. Following the over, Kuldeep and Rohit engaged in a heated exchange about the missed review.

A video capturing their argument was shared by one of the users, along with a comment from one of the commentators. The commentator said, "You need to be careful with the captain he picks the team," as quoted in a report in Inside Sport.

Fortunately for India, the unreviewed decision didn't come back to haunt them, as Livingstone was dismissed for just 27 a few overs later. Despite posting a modest total of 229, the Indian bowlers delivered an impeccable performance, restricting England to a mere 129 runs. Kuldeep Yadav, in particular, shone with his two wickets.

As India continues their remarkable World Cup campaign, they now sit at the top of the points table with six consecutive wins. They remain the only undefeated team in the tournament so far. The Men in Blue will face Sri Lanka in their next match on Thursday, 2nd November, at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium. A victory in that game would secure their spot in the semi-finals. Presently, India leads the points table with 12 points.
