IPL 2025 Mega Auction Scheduled In Jeddah With 574 Players Available For Selection
The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction is scheduled for November 24 and 25 in Jeddah. A total of 574 players will be available for selection. Among these, 12 marquee players are divided into two sets and will be the first to be auctioned. Following this, bidding will continue for other capped and uncapped players.
On the second day, an accelerated auction will begin from player No. 117 on the list. This phase allows unsold players a chance to return to the auction. However, not all unsold players will have their names reconsidered.

Accelerated Auction Process
The accelerated auction consists of two phases. Initially, franchises nominate players from No. 117 to 574 they wish to see presented again. In the subsequent phase, all unsold or unpresented players from the entire list of 574 can be nominated by franchises for another chance at being auctioned.
If even one team mentions a player's name during this process, that player will be reintroduced for a second time.
Player Reintroduction Criteria
Players who remain unsold initially may return during the accelerated auction if nominated by any franchise. However, only those specifically mentioned by teams will have their names brought back under consideration.
This system ensures that franchises have another opportunity to secure players they might have overlooked or reconsidered after initial rounds.
