Reports indicated he had traveled to the UK, possibly to be with his partner for the birth of their first child. However, Salt's return to Ahmedabad overnight has eased those worries, and he is now expected to be available for the title clash against PBKS.

Salt has been one of RCB's standout performers this season, scoring 387 runs in 12 matches with a strike rate of 175.90 and an average of 35.18. His explosive starts have played a crucial role in setting the tone for RCB's innings, making his presence in the final vital.

Tim David Fitness Woes Continue

Adding to RCB's selection dilemma is the uncertainty around Tim David, who has missed the last two matches due to a hamstring injury. Skipper Rajat Patidar admitted during the press conference that there is no clarity yet on David's availability for the final.

"Till now, I have no idea about Tim David. Doctors are there and we will get to know this evening," said Patidar.
