IPL 2024: Mumbai Indians Pacer Jasprit Bumrah And His Wife's Chat Goes Viral

Speedster Jasprit Bumrah, famous for his fiery yorkers and bouncers, is back in form and emerged as a hero for Mumbai Indians in their previous match against IPL points table topper Rajasthan Royals. Bumrah wreaked havoc on opponents' batting lineup by picking up a five-wicket haul.

After the match, during a chat show on Jio Cinema, Jaspirt Bumrah in a conversation with host Sanjana Ganesan, who is also Jasprit Bumrah's wife, the pacer opened up about his backup plan saying if had not got the chance to represent the national side.

Bumrah said he has been living and playing for Mumbai since he was -old and glad that John Wright acknowledged his talent and orthodox bowling action. The cricketer further stated that he had not expected that he would get so much cricket, so fast. He added that he has learned over the years and his cricketing journey was no less than a roller coaster.

Further Bumrah told Sanjana that he had plans to move to Canada, if plan A, to play for India, had not worked out.

Bumrah further added that every street in India has around 25 boys who want to represent India, so it was essential to have a backup plan. Bumrah said that his relatives live overseas and after finishing his education, he also had a plan to move there along with his family. But his mother never agreed to it as Canada has a different culture and she is happy here, in India.

The ace cricketer also mentioned his immense love for cricket adding that he is grateful to god that he got the blue jersey, but if he had not, he would have tried to play for the Canadian cricket team, underlining that there's no great feeling than playing for your own country.

In the IPL 2024, Mumbai Indians have bounced back on the wining track as the team won two back-to-back matches after losing the first three matches.
