Indian Speedster Mohammed Shami Is Now Fit, Bowls In Nets, Eyes Return Against Sri Lanka| Watch Video
Ahead of India's team announcement for Sri Lanka's tour, where Men in Blue will play 3 T20s and 3 ODIs, a piece of good news has arrived for Indian cricket fans. India's one of the best pacers, Mohammed Shami is fit now and was seen bowling in the nets. Mohammed Sham, who clinched the Best Bowler's Award at the ICC ODI Cricket World Cup 2023 for taking 24 wickets, underwent surgery for his Achilles tendon in London. He was away from cricket for almost the last 7 months, and now he is all set to resume national duty.
Indian speedster Mohammed Shami suffered an ankle injury during the World Cup 2023, but instead of resting, the cricketer opted to play in pain and powered India to register thumping victories.

A video shared by the cricketer himself shows him bowling in the nets at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. Due to the injury, Shami missed the IPL 2024 and T20 World Cup 2024, which India won, but now he wants to continue representing India.
A source also reported that selectors are delaying the India squad announcement as they are monitoring Shami's fitness closely and may pick him for the 15-member T20 team.
The 33-year-old can be seen bowling, but he was not running at his full speed, instead bowling cautiously as he has just regained full fitness and doesn't want any muscle to break down.
"Vibing with the latest, grinding for the greatest": Mohammed Shami caption his video.
Mohammed Shami has represented India in 101 ODIs, 64 Tests and 23 T20Is. Collectively, he has dismissed 448 wickets (195+ 229+ 24), respectively.
