India vs England Ranchi Test: BCCI Releases Jasprit Bumrah From Squad For 4th Match
Jasprit Bumrah has been released from the squad for the 4th IDFC First Bank Test against England in Ranchi. The decision was taken keeping in mind the duration of the series and the amount of cricket he has played in recent times.
Meanwhile, KL Rahul has also been ruled out of the 4th Test due to injury. However, the cricket governing body has not ended hopes for his participation in the final Test match against England in Dharamsala which is now subject to his fitness and clearance from the NCA.

Mukesh Kumar, who was released from the squad for the third Test in Rajkot, has joined the squad in Ranchi. Kumar has impressed everyone with his outstanding performances in domestic cricket, which convinced the selectors to pick him for the test series against England.

Rohit Sharma (C), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Rajat Patidar, Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel (WK), KS Bharat (WK), Devdutt Padikkal, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohd. Siraj, Mukesh Kumar, Akash Deep.
After losing the first test at Hyderabad, Team India made a strong comeback in the series and won both the previous matches. So far, in the series, youngster Yashasvi Jaiswal has entertained fans with his heroics. He has played powerful shots in the copy-book style.
Despite being new to the side, the youngster understood his responsibilities and proved his metal by scoring big runs against a strong opponent, England.
