IND vs ENG: With Yashasvi Jaiswal's Ton, Team India Dominates England In Rajkot Test On Day 3

He is a horse of long race. He is loaded with skills. He is a rising star. He is Yashasvi Jaiswal. India vs Engalnd Rajkot test's Day 3 was all about the young left-hander who struck a blitzkrieg ton.

The youngster played English bowlers on merit and powered India to mark the second inning lead by 322 runs before getting retired hurt. This was Yashasvi Jaiswal's third Test century and second against England.

Though Indian bowlers entertained a lot in the first two sessions of the day, Yashasvi's performance overshadowed all. He took 80 balls to reach his half-century but then changed the gears to complete a hundred in 122 balls studded with nine boundaries and five towering sixes.

However, Jaiswal had to return to the pavilion following a strain in the back. Jaiswal complained of back pain soon after he celebrated his century. He returned after consulting with team physio in the 44th over of the game when Team India was in a dominant position.

Jaiswal received a standing ovation for his powerful knock. If he gets a clearance from the medical team, Jaiswal may continue to bat on Day 4 as well.

Shubman Gill also registered another fifty against English. He completed his half-century with a huge six to Mark Wood and was unbeaten on 64 runs at the stumps on Day 3. India scored 196/2 in 51 overs in their second innings and will continue to bat from here.
