In just 8 innings, de Kock managed to amass a staggering 550 runs, including four centuries, further solidifying his reputation as a batting powerhouse. Interestingly, this marks de Kock's final appearance in the ODI World Cup.

Additionally, Rachin Ravindra, the third-highest run-scorer in the World Cup, has secured a nomination in the ICC Player of the Month category. Ravindra has accumulated 523 runs, showcasing his brilliance with three impressive centuries.

The ICC declared, "The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday revealed the latest group of international superstars in contention to win the ICC Player of the Month awards following an action-packed month of cricket in October."

Jaspreet Bumrah, known for his mastery of the yorker, commenced the month with a remarkable performance against Australia in India's opening match of the CWC23. Bumrah's bowling prowess proved crucial as he secured two crucial wickets, conceding a mere 35 runs. This performance set the stage for India's successful start in the World Cup.

Bumrah's exceptional form continued, particularly evident in his four-wicket haul against Afghanistan in Delhi. His contribution was pivotal in India's victory over Pakistan, where he claimed two wickets, including the crucial dismissal of Mohammad Rizwan at just 19 runs. His exceptional performance earned him the Player of the Match award. Thus far in the World Cup, Bumrah has taken a staggering 14 wickets with an astonishing economy rate of 3.91.

South African opener Quinton de Kock has made a significant impact on the World Cup, especially considering his impending retirement from the ODI format. De Kock's four centuries and dominant starts have left a lasting impression, with memorable centuries against Sri Lanka and Australia in the tournament. His remarkable inning against Bangladesh, in which he scored 174 runs, was another highlight. Currently, South Africa stands at the second position on the World Cup points table.

Rachin Ravindra, a 23-year-old cricketer from New Zealand, has made a substantial contribution to the World Cup. Filling in for the injured Kane Williamson, Rachin has amassed 523 runs, including three centuries and two half-centuries. One of his standout performances was against Australia when New Zealand was chasing a formidable target, with Rachin smashing 116 runs. Although New Zealand couldn't secure the win, his inning was nothing short of spectacular. In October, he scored a total of 406 runs with an average of 8.20, earning his first-ever nomination for the ICC Player of the Month.
