Haris Rauf Scuffle With Fan Case: Pakistan Cricket Board Warns Accused Of Legal Action

Days after a video showing Pakistan Cricketer Haris Rauf engaged in a scuffle with a fan went viral on social media, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has now taken cognizance of the matter.

According to the viral video, a fan allegedly used foul language and said something to Hais Rauf, when he was going out with his wife. The foul language provoked the all-rounder and he then argued with the fan. In the war of words, Rauf can be heard saying that this fan must be an Indian, to which, the guy replied that he is a Pakistan and certainly not happy with the team's poor performance and early exit from the world cup.

Those who are involved must immediately apologise to Haris Rauf, failing which we will pursue legal action against the individual responsible." Naqvi said in a statement on social media.

Before this, Haris Rauf himself took it to social media to say that as a public figures, he welcomes all kinds of feedback. But people should know the line. "

They are entitled to support or criticize us. Nevertheless, when it comes to my parent and my family, I will not hesitate to respond accordingly. It is important to show respect towards people and their families, irrespective of their professions," he said.

Pakistan team was placed in Group A where they faced 2 wins against Ireland and Canada, and 2 defeats against USA and India. However, the Pakistan team's performance was not enough for the qualification for the next round, Super 8.
