Hardik Pandya's Blitzkrieg Half-Century Power India Win Against Bangladesh By 50 Runs; Shuts Trolls
Thanks to Hardik Pandya's all-rounder performance, India on Saturday defeated Bangladesh in the Super 8 match of the T20 World Cup. At the Sir Vivan Richard's Stadium in Antigua, Team India bagged another victory, which moved them to the edge of qualification for the T20 World Cup semis. Now, if Australia beats Afghanistan, then India and Australia would be through to the next round.
At the start of the match, Bangladesh skipper Najmul Hossain won the toss and invited Rohit Sharma and men to bat first. Taking full benefit of the opportunity and a good track to bat, India scored 197 runs.

The inning was started by Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in a hard-hitting style as they notched 23 and 37 runs, respectively. However, they both went back when they were looking in a good touch and team and fans were expecting them to turn the good start to big innings.
After they got out, Rishabh Pant (36) and Shivam Dube (34) steadied the ship. But towards the end, Hardik Pandya showed some really good hands and played a blitzkrieg inning that powered India pin a total of 197 runs.
Hardik also impressed everyone with his bowling. He picked up a wicket with his medium-pace deliveries.
During the chase, Bangladesh fell short of 50 runs and was bundled out for only 147 runs. Except for their skipper Najmal, who notched 40 runs off 32 balls, no other batter managed to stay for a long at the crease, which resulted in their defeat.
Coming back to Hardik Pandya, his all-rounder performance shut the trollers who have been criticising him for not performing in the IPL. However, the latter made them realize that no matter what, he is a player of big matches and always stands tall whenever Team India requires the most.
His supporters and team India fans flooded social media with good wishes and praise messages.
