Good News For Cricket Fans! Ravindra Jadeja Is Back With Team India, Read Details
Eying to avenge the Centurion Test defeat, Rohit Sharma has asked the boys to prepare well ahead of the Cape Town Test. The Cape Town Test is slated from January 3 to 7. Amid the preparations, a piece of good news arrived on Friday for team India as all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is set to rejoin the line-up.
According to the reports, Jadeja missed the series opener in Centurion due to an upper back spasm and began training on the morning of Day 1 of the Test match. There is a strong indication that they will be fit and available for selection in time for the New Year's Test in Cape Town.

According to the PTI, the left-hander participated in the pre-match warm-up session ahead of Day 3's play. Team management and coach noted that the star all-rounder showed no signs of discomfort as he engaged in several 30 to 40-meter runs during the morning session.
In another big development for Team India, pacer Avesh Khan will join the squad in place of Mohammed Shami, who has been struggling with an ankle injury.
Khan's impressive performance in the three-match ODI series was pivotal in securing a 2-1 victory. Particularly in the series opener at The Wanderers in Johannesburg, Khan showcased exceptional pace and swing, contributing significantly to the team's triumph over the hosts.
Here's how the Indian squad looks for the 2nd Test against South Africa after two major changes:
Rohit Sharma (c), Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul (wk), Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Mohd. Siraj, Mukesh Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah (vc), Prasidh Krishna, KS Bharat (wk), Abhimanyu Easwaran, Avesh Khan.
