Gautam Gambhir Opens Up On Rift Rumours In Team India, Captain Rohit Sharma
Almost a month after India's humiliating defeat against Australia in the Border Gavaskar trophy, India head coach Gautam Gambhir broke his silence on the rift in dressing room reports. At that time, several social media users had claimed that things were not going well between Gautam Gambhir and skipper Rohit Sharma. Some reports also claimed an internal rift in the team.
However, no player ever commented on the matter, but now, the Head Coach has decided to keep his side.

Hitting back at the people spreading rumors and blaming Gambhir for India's defeat against Australia, Head coach showed them mirror after India crushed England to bag the series by 4-1.
"They have played a lot of cricket with each other. More importantly, a month back, there were a couple of other rumours flying around (laughs). That's what Indian cricket is all about. There will be so many things said about the dressing room when things are not going okay. But once results start going in your favour, things start falling in place," Gautam Gambhir said.
Notably, Gambhir didn't junk the dressing room rift rumors after the Border-Gavaskar series. Rather, he opted to explain the nature of the game and its outcomes.
He also highlighted team's hard work and how barriers are being pushed to achieve new milestones.
"That's the kind of T20 cricket we want to play. We don't want to fear losing a game of cricket. We want to play high-risk, high-reward cricket. And these guys have adopted that ideology really well," Gautam Gambhir had said after the Mumbai t20 win.
