Former Cricketer Aakash Chopra Predicts "Who Will Win Pakistan Election?"

Former cricketer-turned-commentator Aakasha Chopra, renowned for his 'Aakashwani' or correct predictions, shared his views on Pakistan's General Elections 2024. Aakash Chopra got a strange request that had no relation to cricket from a fan during his online chat show. A fan asked the former cricketer to predict "Who will win the election in Pakistan? Do #AakashVani. This is your real test."

"That's too easy. Nawaz Shariff," Aakasha Chopra replied.

Aakash Chopra Predicts Pakistan Election Winner

Earlier, on many occasions, Aakash Chopra was proven right for his predictions made during a match or before the match.

The former cricketer has spent a long time serving cricket and has observed Indo-pak relations, culture, and all other activities closely. Notably, political actions and relations between the governments of India and Pakistan impact cricket on a large scale.

The nations haven't played any bilateral series for the last decade and only meet at ICC competitions.

Elections in Pakistan:

To conduct free and fair elections, more than 650,000 Security personnel have been deployed at polling booths across Pakistan, to facilitate over 128.5 million registered voters who will exercise their vote to choose a government for the next five years.

Pakistan's National Assembly is comprises 336 seats, out of which, 266 candidates get elected through direct voting. Additionally, there are 70 reserved, 60 for women and 10 for non-Muslims.

In the 2018 elections, Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) secured 116 seats, Nawaz Sharif's Pakistan Muslim League (N) won 64 seats, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's Pakistan Peoples Party secured 43 seats, while Independents claimed 13 seats. Other parties and members secured the remaining 40 seats.
