The internet with flooded with lots of videos related to the World Cup final. While a clip in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah having a lighter moment as Australia inched towards victory was doing rounds last night, another video has shockingly gone viral where the Indian PM is seen snubbing the Australian captain Pat Cummins.

On Instagram, Twitter and other social media platforms, the video went viral criticising the PM after he allegedly refused to shake hands with Cummins. In the video, PM Modi is seen handing over the World Cup trophy to him and just leaving the presentation stage without shaking hands.

Also, a photo of Mitchell Marsh's foot on the trophy went viral today and many criticised him for showing disrespect towards the trophy. Interestingly, there was also linked this act to PM's snub. "The reason behind... Aussie player Marsh putting his legs on the world cup...," a user commented and shared the video from the presentation ceremony.

However, the truth is the viral video has been edited out and the actual video shows the PM shaking hands and congratulating the Aussie captain before leaving the stage.

"What is the reason behind bro? please watch the original video he gives trophy to Cummins and shake hands with him. Don't blame him always & spread wrong information, if he really does we definitely criticize him," one user said.

Some people shared the original video to spread misinformation about the incident.

Australia emerged victorious in the World Cup final on Sunday, defeating India by six wickets. Travis Head's remarkable ton (137 runs from 120 balls) and Marnus Labuschagne's half-century (58 from 110 balls) helped the Aussies to crossing the winning line with seven over to go.
