Cricket Breaking! Royal Challengers Bengaluru's This Star Player Is Likely To Leave Team Ahead Of IPL 2025
Ahead of the much-anticipated edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025), a mega auction will be held and major transfers are expected this time. Reportedly, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) is eyeing to add Lucknow Super Giants' (LSG) captain KL Rahul to its kitty and is most likely to relieve Glenn Maxwell. It has been learned that RCB's top management is not happy with Australia Great's recent outing.
In IPL 2024, RCB lost 7 matches out of 8, which forced the team management to take some harsh calls. Glenn Maxwell was even dropped from the team for a game, after which, reports surfaced that he might leave the franchise as he was being blamed for the team's collective failure. Glenn Maxwell scored only 52 runs in 10 IPL matches.

However, he was later inducted back in the team and RCB miraculously qualified for IPL playoffs as they won 7 matches straight.
The speculations started after some screenshots showing Glenn Maxwell unfollowed the Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Instagram started trending on the internet.
Notably, Glenn Maxwell is one of the biggest names and match-winners in Bengaluru's side, who was added to the squad in 2021 for a whopping sum of 14.25 crores, and later, the franchise retained him for Rs 11 crores in the following years.
He has been a consistent performer and the biggest entertainer in IPL. Maxwell scored 513 runs in 2021 and 301 runs in 2022, laced with several match-winning knocks. While in 2023, the Australian star scored 400 runs.
He hits towering sixers and orthodox shots all around the park, which leave the bowlers scratching their heads and impressed fans cheer aloud.
