Champions Trophy 2025: Amidst uncertainty on India's plan to visit Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025, former cricketer and star batter of Pakistan Younis Khan has requested India's ace batter Virat Kohli to must visit his country and play in front of their crowd. Virat Kohli, who has a massive fan following across the border, has never visited Pakistan since his entry to the senior men's team.
Virat Kohli last visited Pakistan when he was leading India's U19 team.

In a conversation, Younis Khan said Virat Kohli has scored a lot of runs across the globe and he would be happy, if star batter visits Pakistan, which will be good for cricketing relations between both countries. He said scoring runs in Pakistan is the only feather left in Virat Kohli's hat.
Will Team India visit Pakistan for Champions Trophy 2025:
According to the report, BCCI does not want Indian players to visit Pakistan keeping the team's security and safety in mind. However, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is continuously making efforts and has assured proper and special security arrangements.

Team India has not visited Pakistan since 2012-2013 following stained political ties between both countries.
Meanwhile, reports suggested that ICC has allocated funds to PCB to organize the ICC Champions Trophy, along with special funds to organize India's matches outside Pakistan, most probably in UAE.
Coming back to Virat Kohli, another former Pakistan star Shahid Afridi has also urged the BCCI to send team Indian cricket team to Pakistan as fans want to see Virat Kohli playing live.
"I will welcome Team India. Even when Pakistan used to tour, we received a lot of respect and love from India, and when India came in 2005-06, all their players enjoyed it. There is no better advent of peace than India and Pakistan going to each other's country and playing cricket. If Virat Kohli comes to Pakistan, he'll forget the love and hospitality of India. He has his own class," Shahid Afridi told media.
