As India's women's cricket team gears up for the ODI World Cup final against South Africa on November 2, words of encouragement have come from some of the country's biggest cricketing stars. The men's team, currently playing a five-match T20I series against Australia, sent a special video message cheering on Harmanpreet Kaur and her squad before the title clash in Navi Mumbai.

In the video released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), several players including Suryakumar Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Shubman Gill, Jitesh Sharma, Rinku Singh, and Arshdeep Singh extended their heartfelt wishes, urging the women's team to "enjoy the occasion" and "bring the trophy home."

Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah offered words of calm and confidence:

"Just enjoy the occasion. You don't get to play a lot of World Cup finals. You are playing really well - back yourself and enjoy the moment. Give your best and everything else will take care of itself. We'll be cheering for you guys."

Captain Suryakumar Yadav echoed the sentiment, praising the team's consistent performances throughout the tournament.

"Wishing the women's team all the very best for the World Cup final. Just be yourself - you've had an amazing campaign so far. One last push for India, Jai Hind," he said.

Adding a personal touch, wicketkeeper-batter Jitesh Sharma sent a message to fellow Maharashtrian Smriti Mandhana, urging her to play a match-winning innings in the final.

"Smriti, special best of luck to you. Play an amazing innings in the final and finish the match," he said, while Rinku Singh humorously reminded the team to "have faith in God's plan."

With messages pouring in from across the cricketing fraternity, the women's team will step onto the field backed by an entire nation - and their male counterparts - as they chase glory in the World Cup final.
