The harsh weather forced authorities to shut all airports and cancel all flights coming and going from the region. The local authorities have also advised people to stay indoors to avoid any mishappening.

Indian players who were scheduled to leave the island nation today are now stuck their and staying inside the hotel. Though all players are safe, but there is no update on their return schedule. Fans in India are eagerly waiting for Rohit Sharma and company to bring that glittering trophy home at the earliest.

According to the weather monitoring department, Hurricane Beryl is expected to be of Category 4 intensity (the second most severe), hence no flights are allowed to fly.

The Washington Post reported, that Hurricane Beryl is anticipated to hit the Windward Islands with winds exceeding 130 mph, which may cause turn storm surge between 6 to 9 feet with rainfall in the range of 3 to 6 inches.

A few players from the T20 World Cup squad will head to Zimbabwe for a 5-match T20I series starting July 06 and the rest including skipper Rohit Sharma will return to India once adverse conditions turn normal.
