India triumphed over Pakistan with a solid 6-wicket win on Sunday in the Champions Trophy 2025 Group B match number 5, as they first managed to bundle out hosts for only 241 runs and they chased it comfortably. With this victory, India continued to hold their dominance against Pakistan in ICC events and qualified for the Champions Trophy 2025 semis.

It was an all-rounder performance by the team as Virat Kohli (100*), Shubhman Gill (46), Shreyas Iyer (56), Kuldeep Yadav (3 wickets) and Hardik Pandya (2 wickets) powered team India to register a thumping victory.

Abhay Singh, popularly known as IITian Baba who came to the limelight during Mahakumbh 2025, had predicted before the match that team India is going to lose against Pakistan this time.

"I'm telling you beforehand, India won't win this time. Tell everyone, including Virat Kohli, to prove me wrong. Let's see if they can prove me wrong. Whether God is great or you are," he had said in an interview.

But now, when Men in Blue crushed Pakistan's challenge and Baba's prediction, cricket fans lashed out at Baba on social media platforms stating such frauds should be arrested immediately for supporting a rival nation.

Another fan said that Baba must have cracked IIT but can't crack Team India's algorithm, passion, and compassion to beat Pakistan.

While several other cricket fans celebrated India's victory sharing hilarious memes and trolling IITian baba stating he must be high while making such foolish statements. Another user slammed Baba calling him a fraud and anti-national, who couldn't even support their own county against arch-rivals.
