The T20 World Cup 2026 final between India and New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad is expected to unfold on a mixed-soil pitch, a surface believed to favour batters while still offering some assistance to bowlers.

Reports suggest that the pitch will resemble the one used in the Mumbai semi-final, which produced a high-scoring contest when India posted a formidable 253/7 against England. Sanju Samson's explosive 89 in that match highlighted the batting-friendly nature of the surface.
