Three Indian Drivers to Participate in Asia Pacific Rally Championship 2023 APRC
The final round of the Asia Pacific Rally Championship 2023 APRC will be held in Danau Toba, Indonesia from November 24-26. Three Indian drivers from JK Tyre Motosport will be participating in the rally.
The final round of the Asia Pacific Rally Championship (APRC) 2023 will be held in Danau Toba, Indonesia from November 24-26. The rally is considered one of the toughest on the circuit, covering a distance of 433 kms on gravel roads. There will be 11 special stages and one super special stage.
Strong Indian Presence
India will have a strong presence in the rally with three JK Tyre Motorsport drivers competing. They are Jahaan Singh Gill from Chandigarh with co-driver Suraj Prasad, Coorg lad Suhem Kabeer with co-driver PVS Murthy and Lokesh Gowda from Mysore with co-driver Ashwin Naik.
Jahaan Singh Gill
Jahaan Singh Gill has just sealed his JINRC title in the Indian National Rally Championship. He will be driving the N11 Subaru in the APRC.
Suhem Kabeer and Lokesh Gowda
Suhem Kabeer and Lokesh Gowda will be driving the N12 Subaru in the APRC. Both drivers have experience competing in the Indian National Rally Championship.
Challenging Terrain
The competitors had their initial brush with conditions when they tested their cars for the first time on the challenging turf. The rally will officially start on Friday followed by Leg 1 on Saturday and Leg 2 on Sunday.
The Asia Pacific Rally Championship is a major event in the world of rallying. The Danau Toba Rally is one of the toughest rounds on the circuit, but the Indian drivers are confident that they can compete at the highest level.
