Kumar, who was shot twice by two motorcycle-borne assailants late last evening, himself drove his car to the Tata Main Hospital where he was admitted in the critical care unit, senior superintendent of police A V Homkar said.

He said a five-member special team was investigating the case. Earlier, two unidentified motorcycle borne assailants approach Kumar’'s car and asked the direction of TMH but they shot at Kumar immediately after he replied their query.
