Pune Road Accident News: 17-Year-Old Crashes Speeding Porsche Into Bike, 2 Dead

A tragic road incident was reported from Pune's Kalyani Nagar on Sunday, where, Two people going on a motorcycle lost their lives after a Porsche car, driven by a minor, crashed into them. According to the police reports, the accident happened at around 3.15 am when Anish Awadiya and Ashwini Costa were returning home with friends on motorcycles after partying at a club.

The accident between the car and bike happened near Kalyani Nagar junction. Vedant Agarwal, 17, who was driving the Porsche Taycan, rammed the speeding vehicle into their bike.

The force of the crash flung the two riders into the air, causing them to land on another car. They died instantly. After colliding with the riders, the car crashed into the pavement and came to a halt.

Local residents apprehended the driver and assaulted him before handing him over to the police.

A case was filed against the driver at the Yerawada police station under multiple sections, including 279 (rash driving), 304A (causing death by negligence), 337 (endangering human life), and 338 (causing grievous hurt), along with provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act.
