Pune: CCTV Footage Reveals Suspects Faces In Pune Gang Rape Case; Probe Underway
The Maharashtra Police have released CCTV footage showing three suspects in a gang-rape case in Pune. The victim has identified these individuals as her attackers. Despite the evidence, the suspects remain at large 30 hours after the incident. Authorities have formed 10 teams to intensify the search and are committed to capturing them swiftly.
Reports indicate that a young woman was allegedly gang-raped by three unidentified men near Bopadev Ghat on Pune's outskirts around noon on Friday. Following her statement, Kondhava police registered a case against the accused individuals.

Earlier, police shared images of two suspects and provided contact numbers for public assistance. They urged anyone with information to reach out to specific officials. According to reports, the victim was with a friend when attacked by three unknown men around noon. The incident was reported to authorities at approximately 5 am the following morning. Ranjan Kumar Sharma, Pune's joint commissioner of police, stated that efforts are underway to locate the suspects with active involvement from crime and detective branch teams.
The police's swift action in releasing suspect images aims to engage community support in locating the perpetrators. This collaborative approach underscores their determination to solve this case promptly and bring justice to the victim.
