Pune: 11-Year-Old Boy Dies After Ball Hits His Private Part While Playing Cricket
In a shocking and saddening incident, an 11-year-old boy died on the spot after a ball hit his private part while playing cricket. According to a viral video doing round the internet, the incident happened in Pune, when children were playing at a ground near to their house. As per the CCTV footage, the deceased boy, Shaurya, was bowling to his friend when a ball came back straight and hit him on his private part.
Within seconds, Shaurya collapsed on the ground. The rest of the boys immediately surrounded him and tried to check on him, but he was unconscious. The boys then informed their parents who transported Shaurya to a nearby hospital, where he was declared brought dead by the doctors.

Taking cognizance of the matter, the police registered a case of accidental death.
Reportedly, the rest of the boys are also in shock and disturbed due to death of their friend.
Expressing grief on Shaurya's untimely death, his uncle Bandu Khandave said, "We are a joint family of over 40 members. In Shaurya's unfortunate passing, we have lost a bright young boy. He aspired to become a wrestler and had started training hard for it. This incident highlights the need to take all the safety precautions while playing."
"Shaurya was a sixth grader who took a lot of interest in sports and had a large circle of friends," said Shaurya's another relative Rameshwar Poul.
