10 LPG Cylinders Explode Near Pune's Symbiosis College, Read Details Here
According to the reports, 10 to 12 liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders exploded on Wednesday. The massive explosion happened at an under-construction site near Symbiosis College in Pune's Viman Nagar.
Reports said, more than 100 LPG cylinders were stored illegally at the site. After being informed, the firefighters swiftly responded and managed to extinguish the fire after a strenuous operation.
"The fire broke out at the site where the cylinders were kept. Out of 100 LPG cylinders, 10 exploded due to the fire, and three fire tenders were deployed at the spot," the fire officials said.

A fire department official present at the site reported minimal damages and no casualties so far. He added that the situation is under control and the rest of the cylinders have been moved to a safer place.
After the massive explosion, authorities have ordered a probe to find the cause behind the explosion.
In a separate incident happened in Maharashtra's Nanded, a blaze broke out in an unoccupied luggage-cum-guard van coach stationed at the Nanded maintenance yard.
The Chief Public Relations Officer of South Central Railways mentioned that the fire was successfully extinguished within 30 minutes following the incident. Additionally, the CPRO stated that no other coaches incurred any damage.
