Puducherry: Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah to address rallies on May 12, 13

Puducherry, May 8: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP national president Amit Shah will address rallies in Karaikal and Puducherry on May 12 and 13 in support of BJP nominees in the May 16 Assembly polls in the Union Territory.

"Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will address a rally in Karaikal on May 12 and BJP national president Amit Shah will address an election rally at Puducherry on May 13, president of BJP's Puducherry state committee V Saminathan told reporters here in the presence of Union minister Prakash Javadekar.

BJP is contesting the polls in all 30 constituencs on its own and Saminathan is among the contestants. The party has already released its poll manifesto relating to Puducherry.
