Playing Population, Stronger Nation: 100 Medals Targeted Foundation Launches Grassroots Sports Initiative

An initiative supported by Pranjal Foundation to ensure that every child, regardless of background, has the opportunity to participate in sports and contribute to India's growing sporting culture.

In a small yet meaningful step towards promoting sports participation among children, 100 Medals Targeted Foundation conducted a Sports Equipment Donation Drive in Chitrakoot on 11 June 2026.

As part of the initiative, children from the slum area were provided with sports equipment, including sports shoes, footballs, and other sporting items.

Additionally, small children numbering 50, received books and stationery to support their educational aspirations.

The Foundation believes that access to sports equipment should never be a barrier preventing children from participating in sports. This humble initiative is part of a larger vision to ignite a sports revolution in India by encouraging every child, irrespective of background, to dream, play, and excel in sports.

Speaking on the occasion, Col Himmat Verma(R) Director of the Foundation emphasized that increasing the nation's playing population is essential for building a stronger sporting culture and creating future champions. There is no dearth of talent in our nation, we need to strengthen the support system.

The donation drive was made possible with the valuable support and assistance of Pranjna Foundation, whose contribution helped bring smiles and opportunities to young children in the region.

100 Medals Targeted Foundation remains committed to promoting sports at the grassroots level and ensuring that no deserving child is left behind due to lack of resources.
