MOU between Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science and Global Cyber University

Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science (HITS), Chennai, India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Global Cyber University (GCU), Seoul, South Korea on December 22nd, 2020. The signatories were Dr. Anand Jacob Verghese, Pro Chancellor, HITS and Mr. Ilchi Lee, Chancellor, GCU.

At the ceremony, Dr.Anand Jacob Verghese said, "It is more meaningful because it is an agreement between the two universities in Korea and India that was made amid the global crisis of Corona 19." "Indian youths are very interested in Korean culture such as K-pop, and through this agreement, We look forward to promoting international exchange between the two universities."

Global Cyber University (President Seung-Heon Lee) announced on the 24th that it signed an MOU with the Hindustan Institute of Technology in India for international exchange, and that from the first semester of 2021, Hindustan Institute of Technology students will be able to join a Course "Brain Education Meditation - Stress Management & Self-Empowerment" to promote Emotional Wellbeing
The other dignitaries present on the occasion include Prof. Ulsoon Lee, Vice Chancellor, GCU, Dr. Wonki Kwon, Director of Hanmunhwa Foundation, Prof. Jounghan Lee, Vice President of IBREA (International Brain Education Association, UN DPI NGO), Prof. Hyunjeong Yang, Vice-President of Korea Institute of Brain Science & Prof. of Brain Education Meditation Course, Prof. KyungJoo Yoon. Dean, Dept. of Practical English, GCU and Ms. Soyoung Seo, Interpreter, GCU.
