The Chief Minister expressed his joy and anticipation for the games, stating, "It is a matter of great happiness that Khelo India Youth Games, 2025 is being organized in Bihar." He highlighted the event's crucial role in promoting sports culture in Bihar and providing a platform for young talents to shine on a national stage. The games are not just a celebration of sports but a step towards enhancing sports infrastructure and invigorating the state's youth.

The mascot of the event, 'Gajsingh', embodies the historical and cultural essence of Bihar. Inspired by the archaeological heritage of the state, particularly the elephant-lion statues from the Pala period found in Nalanda and Bodh Gaya, Gajsingh symbolizes the strength, courage, and intelligence of athletes. This mascot aims to inspire young players nationwide with a spirit of organization, discipline, and advancement in sports.

The logo, adorned with vibrant orange and green colors, represents the enthusiasm and natural beauty of Bihar while paying homage to its rich cultural heritage and sports spirit. The design incorporates symbols of historical and intellectual significance, such as the Mahabodhi Temple and Nalanda University, reflecting a deep respect for the state's past. Additionally, elements like the Peepal tree, sparrow, Gangetic dolphin, Madhubani painting, and Chhath Puja celebrate Bihar's diverse identity and commitment to nature conservation.

The slogan "Colors of sports! With Bihar!" captures the essence of this sports renaissance in Bihar, signaling the state's ambition to position itself on the global sports map. The event promises to be a landmark occasion, not only for the athletes participating but for Bihar's journey in sports development and cultural celebration.

Distinguished guests, including Deputy Chief Ministers Shri Samrat Chaudhary and Shri Vijay Kumar Sinha, alongside various ministers and officials, attended the ceremony, demonstrating the collective support and enthusiasm for the Khelo India Youth Games. A short film showcased during the event further highlighted the significance and scale of the upcoming games.

As the torch Gaurav Yatra makes its way across 38 districts of Bihar, the excitement and anticipation for the Khelo India Youth Games continue to build. This event is set to mark a golden chapter in the sports history of Bihar and India, fostering a legacy of talent, spirit, and unity through sportsmanship.
