International Conference on Advances in Data Engineering and Intelligent Computing System (ADICS 2024)

Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS), a NAAC A+ Deemed- to-be University in Chennai has condcuted a two day international conference on "Advances in Data Engineering and Intelligent Computing System (ADICS 2024)" at the HITS Bay Range Campus, Padur on April 17th and 18th 2024, organized by the Department of Computer Science Engineering from the School of Computing Sciences. The ADICS-2024 conference aims to provide an academic platform to promote the creation of global technical and scientific collaboration networks.

The International Conference focuses on advancements in data engineering and intelligent computer systems, drawing researchers, scientists, and technologists globally to share their research findings, inventions, and innovative applications in emerging technologies such as AI , Machine Learning and Data science. The participants will gain insights into the emerging technological developments in Advanced Informatics and its applications, fostering thorough exploration and discussion in this era.

Dr. Ling Tok Wang, Emeritus Professor at the National University of Singapore will preside as the Chief Guest while Dr. Ammar Alazab from Torrens University, Australia, specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Optimization will be the Guest of honour. Session chairs hail from esteemed institutions like Curtin University-Dubai, Universiti Putra & Multimedia University- Malaysia, Virtusa- New Jersey, University of Western Australia-Perth, Charles Schwab-Dallas, NIT-Trichy, and Patton Labs-Michigan, USA. Dr. Anand Jacob Verghese, Chancellor HITS, Dr. Ashok Verghese, Pro Chancellor and other esteemed officials from HITS will be present during the inauguration ceremony.

Participants from Singapore, United States, Australia, Malaysia, Dubai, and other countries will attend the conference. With a focus on the development and application of computer science and intelligent systems, the conference features 16 plenary and 4 invited speeches, as well as 198 selected papers from a total of 796 submissions. These selected papers will be presented during the conference. All research papers presented at ADICS will be published in IEEE Digital Explore and the proceedings of ADICS will be indexed in the Scopus database, solidifying it as a source of cutting-edge research.

The ADICS conference covers diverse tracks including Computational Intelligence, Data Analytics, Security and Privacy, Image Processing, Bioinformatics, Artificial Intelligence Solutions, IoT, Social Networking, Intelligence Techniques, Autonomic Computing, Human-Computer Interaction, and Cognitive Computing. The conference features a keynote session on "Database and AI Learning" by Dr. Ling Tok Wang, Emeritus Professor at the National University of Singapore. Subsequent sessions include a talk on "Artificial Intelligence in Cyber Security" by Dr. Ammar Alazab from Torrens University, Australia, and "Bioinformatics and Computation" by Dr. R. A. Robert Sam, Senior Principal Scientist at CSIR-CSIO, Chennai. The event is set to conclude with a knowledge sharing session on "Cognitive Artificial Intelligence" by Dr. Ebenezer Isaac, Senior AI Technical Product Manager at Ericsson Pvt Ltd.
