India-Iran Meeting Highlights Solidarity, Minority Safety and Call for Peace

An official meeting was held at the Iran Culture House between Dr. Faridasa, Cultural Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Rajinder Singh, Chairman of the Virasat Sikhism Trust.

Rajinder Singh highlighted the importance of safeguarding historic Gurdwaras and other religious places. He urged authorities to ensure that these sites are well maintained and protected.

Update on Minority Casualties

Dr. Faridasa informed that among minority communities, only one death has been reported so far, belonging to the Christian community.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening mutual understanding, cultural exchange, and religious cooperation.

They also expressed hope for an early ceasefire and the restoration of peace in the region.
