Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science hosts the 3rd Edition of TEDx Hindustan University

Chennai, Nov 28: Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science hosted the 3rd edition of the Ted Talk on the theme Ideate. Recreate. at the Bay Range Campus, Padur today. The event witnessed the participation of 100 attendees who got to listen to eminent speakers of various spheres.

The event was presided over by Mr. Ashok Verghese, Director, HITS and who is also a licensee of TEDxHindustan University; Dr. S.N. Sridhara, Vice-Chancellor, HITS; Ms. Ami Agarwal, Head of CODE and Co-licensee of TEDxHindustan University alongside various HODs, Deans, Staff and students of the institution.

A total of 15 eminent speakers delivered their talks on different domains and interesting topics such as The Power of Ideas, A Woman's Roadmap to Success, Startup - An adventure of highs and lows, Embracing Creativity Every day, Reassuring Sustainability, Music - A Universal language, Walk your mind, Blue Economy, Re-inventing yourself, Indian History, Losing your mind, Metaverse, and The Future that is India.

The eminent speakers were, Mr. SaurabhUboweja, Founder and Managing Partner of BOD consulting, New Delhi; Ms. VaniAiyer, Co-Founder of Vetinstant, Chennai; Mr.AalaapRaju, Singer, Bass Player and Composer, Chennai; Mr. Abhinav Jain, Co-Founder of Almond Solutions, New Delhi; Mr. SougatChatterjee, Co-Founder of Abhay Ventures and Mentor at AtalInnovation Mission, NITI Aayog, New Delhi;Mr.Balachander, Founder of BookWater, ChennaiMr. Naveen Garg, Co-founder and President of NLPCORE, Seattle, USA;Mr. AdityaSinghal, Co-Founder at Bytelearn, New Delhi; Dr. A. SivathanuPillai, Founder CEO & MD of BrahMos Aerospace, Chennai and Dr. Rajkumar JS, Founder and Doctor- Lifeline Group of Hospitals, Chennai.

Three of the speakers were alumni of HITS namely Dr. AshwaniKhanna, Managing Director of KSU Aviation, New Delhi; Mr. Mohammed Sadiq, Director of AB Business Enterprises, Chennai and Mr. GauthamRamdas, Head - Marketing & Communication - VisionEDGE, Bengaluru hailing from the class of 1987, 1995 and 2013 respectively.

Ms. Aishwarya Singh Raikar, Research Scholar - School of Management, HITS; and Ms. Maria Biju, Student of Architecture, HITS were also among the 15 eminent speakers.

Every speaker left a lasting impression on the audience, who had various key takeaways that they could connect to.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks which was delivered by Dr. S.N. Sridhara, Vice-Chancellor, HITS.
