“Harit Urja Conclave 2025 – Madhya Pradesh Edition” Organised to Support Green Energy Transition
PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), under the aegis of its State Development Council/Madhya Pradesh State Chapter, in association with M.A.D Ideaz, New & Renewable Energy Department (Government of Madhya Pradesh), CLASP, Tata Power and other supporting organisations, successfully organised the "Harit Urja Conclave 2025 - Madhya Pradesh Edition" on 2 December 2025 at Hotel Courtyard Marriott, Bhopal. PHDCCI as the "Industry Partner" of this initiative reassures its unwavering commitment to support the green energy transition of Madhya Pradesh and India at large.

The central theme of the Conclave was "Empowering Madhya Pradesh: Clean Tech for a Greener Grid", with a special focus on Appliance Efficiency.
Speaking in Conclave, the Chief Guest Rakesh Shukla, Minister for New & Renewable Energy, Government of Madhya Pradesh, said "In our mission to make Madhya Pradesh the hub of new and renewable energy, we look forward to a broader coalition of the government and industry. Through policies and incentives, we are doing all possible to create a level playing field for the industry players in the state's new and renewable energy."
The Keynote Speaker Manu Srivastava, Additional Chief Secretary, New & Renewable Energy Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, reflected on MP's leadership in solar wind and renewables and its contributions in India's net-zero mission. He highlighted on the gains made through the key renewable energy projects in Madhya Pradesh including Morena Solar/Hybrid Park, Rewa Solar Park, Omkareshwar Floating Solar Plant, Sanchi Solar City (India's first Net Zero Carbon City) and Narmadapuram RE Equipment Manufacturing Zone. He added that Madhya Pradesh is a power surplus state and its unique offering like a tariff of solar energy Rs 2.70 (per unit) will make it possible to see the state relying more on renewable energy besides achieving export target of 10000mw to other states in India.
The Conclave hosted several technical and panel discussions on new technologies, sustainability, energy efficiency, and efficient appliances, featuring participation from key industry leaders, government representatives, and subject experts. The deliberations focused on the adoption of new technologies and innovations, keeping policy decisions robust and industry-friendly, strengthening Public Private Partnership (PPP) models and closet government-industry collaboration to further support the navigation of Madhya Pradesh's transition towards a greener grid.
