Global Scholarship Award Ceremony at Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science

Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS) has been awarded a $10,000, One in Tech Global Scholarship from the ISACA foundation (Information Systems Audit and Control Association), in partnership with NTT Data Services.

20 students were awarded a $500 USD Global scholarship for their tuition fee for the upcoming year. The eligibility criteria for this scholarship are the students must be enrolled in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at HITS, and have the urge to start a career in cyberspace. HITS is an academic partner of ISACA, USA.

HITS is the only Indian University receiving this scholarship from India. Scholarship awardees will explore more opportunities to apply for internships and employment at NTT Data Services. The funds may be used for Full-time enrolment, Part-time enrolment, Credit courses, Purchase of books, and also any school supplies and technologies.

Dr Mahesh Kalyana Raman, President of ISACA Chennai Chapter and Associate Vice President at HCL Technologies, was the Chief Guest; Mr Vaidyanathan, Vice President of ISCA Chennai Chapter, was the Guest of Honor during the Scholarship award Ceremony. During the Award Ceremony, Dr S N Sridhara, Vice Chancellor of HITS, Dr Pon Ramalingam, Registrar, Dr Angelina Geetha, Dean(E&T) and Dr Thangakumar J, HOD (CSE) were present.
