Four Karnataka Forest Department Frontline Staff To Be Honoured At Wildlife Service Awards 2026

Four frontline personnel from the Karnataka Forest Department will be honoured with the Wildlife Service Awards 2026 in recognition of their contribution to wildlife conservation and forest protection.

The awards will be presented during the 14th Edition of the Wildlife Service Awards - Tiger Cup, scheduled to be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 4:00 PM at P2 Hall, M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

Former India cricketer and former KSCA President Dr. B.K. Venkatesh Prasad will present the awards as the Chief Guest. Karnataka Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre will attend the event as the Guest of Honour.

The awardees, who serve on the frontlines of forest and wildlife protection, will receive a cash award and a citation for their dedicated service. The recognition aims to acknowledge the efforts of forest staff who work, often away from public attention, to safeguard Karnataka's forests and wildlife.

The organisers said the awards seek to highlight the contributions of field-level forest personnel and encourage continued commitment towards conservation and protection of natural ecosystems.

The event will also be attended by representatives from the forest department, conservation groups, corporate organisations, media, and other stakeholders associated with wildlife and environmental conservation.
