DOT School of Design

India has now only started realizing the importance of complete applications and the power of Design and also it is a form of art .

In order to make all to be aware of Design and its skills, a special course is an immediate necessity. Having this as a core principle, DOT School of Design is started to impart the classic and high value creative art, "Design". This college provides various Bachelor and Masters diploma and degree courses for Industrial design, Communication related Design, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Textile Design and Fine Arts. Collaborated with Alagappa University with 'A+' Grade accreditation by NAAC, India and approved by Government of Tamil Nadu, DOT School of Design is one of India's leading design colleges in Chennai.

This centre employs Professors who worked in international and national Universities and trainers who have great working experience in their relevant industrial fields to teach and share their experiences with the students at the DOT's new and hitech technical campus. Their teaching patterns are easily understandable by the students. The special feature of these degree courses is the syllabus of Design courses devised by the DOT people.

Each year students of modern era are joining DOT's degree courses and getting benefitted. To be precise, every year the number of students getting admitted are doubled. This is an evidence that the awareness of Design as a course has spread amongst the public. Various students and their parents are preferring this art form of education leaving the conventional form of educational courses. Students who took this Design courses also get good job opportunities in various fields based on their aspiration.

Last year, DOT has not only made an awareness about their institution but also about the local job opportunities that Design courses could offer. Mr. AR R. Raammnath, Chairman of DOT has taken many important initiatives to take the basic knowledge about this precious art education in the midst of general public and the students.

Owing to the COVID pandemic for the past two years we were not able to meet the press people. As such, a press meet is arranged on 20 September 2021, Monday at 12 Noon. An interesting discussion is also scheduled to happen on Design Technology and its education on that day. Celebrities such as Mr. Vasanth S. Sai - Film Director, Mr. Lenin - Film Editor, Mr. Trotsky Maruthu - Popular Artist also take part in this function. "MAKE LEARNING INTERESTING" is the motto of DOT.
