Direct procurement from farmers by AGROTECH

It is a well known fact that Villupuram-based Agrotech Integrated Farmer Producer Company Limited has been working well with the rural population in rural areas with more than 8,000 female farmers in 9 districts in Tamil Nadu.

Following this, Agrotech understands the difficulty of the farmers who is really struggling to sell the produced products at the correct price, they sell the produced products to a middle man for a very low cost for a simple reason that they are not a good marketer, so Agrotech now has started to serve the farmers by helping them to make market linkage by buying rice pulses, dhals and spices and grocery products directly from farmers in Maximum Selling Price (MSP). which is fixed by the Government.

The products produced by the farmers are obtained from them on the basis of value added business and packed directly by Agrotech and sold to the consumers in a simple manner at a very fair price.

These products are being implemented by Door Delivery Concept in rural areas. Agrotech is introducing a simple installment plan for the convenience of rural women, with monthly groceries being delivered to their homes for the benefit of rural and urbanites.

The advantage of this scheme is that the producer and the consumer get it without any intermediaries so that the producer gets the price of what they produce and the right price to the consumer. In order to implement such rural development projects, Agrotech has already launched grocery stores called AGROTECH MART, the next venture. Agrotech Mart has been launched across Tamil Nadu to benefit small businesses as well as to create more Small Entrepreneurs.

The project is also implemented around !00 own stores to retain more small kirana stores which are struggling to remain in the business as they are struggling to face competition and inventory management and also to adapt technologies, Agrotech will help the kirana stores in a such manners and help them to make profits by selling the rural produce which was proven during covid where only the local kirana stores as really contributed the nation by selling to the nearest villages.
