CSIDC Chairman Leads Industry Delegation to Ludhiana; Showcases Investment Opportunities in Chhattisgarh

A high level delegation led by Rajiv Agrawal, Chairman, Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation (CSIDC), Government of Chhattisgarh, visited Ludhiana to engage with industry leaders, industry association members' and other stakeholders to promote investment opportunities in Chhattisgarh.

During the visit, CSIDC in association with the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), organised a focused session on "Investment Opportunities in Chhattisgarh" on 14 February 2026 at Ludhiana, which saw active participations from key members of PHDCCI from Punjab and Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organization (FICO). The session highlighted the state's business-friendly policies, infrastructural strengths, sectorspecific incentives, and the industrial ecosystem evolving across Chhattisgarh.

During his keynote address, Rajiv Agrawal, Chairman, CSIDC, highlighted Chhattisgarh's growing stature as one of India's most promising investment destinations, showcasing the state's strong connectivity, efficient logistics infrastructure, progressive industrial policies (2024-2030), and transparent investment facilitation mechanisms. Emphasizing the state's businessfriendly ecosystem, he spoke about Chhattisgarh's stable policy framework, sectorspecific incentives and dedicated industrial parks, which collectively position the state as an ideal hub for manufacturing, food processing, engineering, and emerging sectors. He invited Ludhiana-based industries to leverage these strengths and explore longterm growth opportunities in Chhattisgarh.

A detailed presentation was given by Vishwesh Kumar, Managing Director, CSIDC, offering an indepth overview of the state's industrial ecosystem, policy initiatives, and upcoming opportunities.

Convener, Regional Education & Skill Development Committee, PHDCCI & CEO, DCM Group of Schools; CA Vishal Garg, Co-Convener- Ludhiana Zone, PHDCCI and Partner, Vikas Garg & Associates; Gurmeet Kullar, President, FICO. The session was moderated by Atul K Thakur, Senior Secretary, State Development Council & Chhattisgarh State Chapter, PHDCCI.

The visits were also conducted to Ludhiana's leading industrial units-Avon Cycles and PI Cottex Pvt. Ltd. The visiting team interacted with plant leadership and gained handson insights into modern manufacturing processes, operational efficiencies, and bestinclass industry practices adopted within these facilities.
The visit strengthened industry linkages between Chhattisgarh and Punjab and is expected to pave the way for increased investments and interstate collaboration in the manufacturing sector.
