CM Nitish Kumar Holds High-Level Review Meeting On Law And Order, Provides Key Guidelines To Officers
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar chaired a high-level review meeting on law and order with the Chief Secretary and Director General of Police, where he issued essential guidelines to the officers.
During the meeting, the Director General of Police briefed CM Kumar on the current status of crime control efforts. He assured that the police force is working diligently and remains fully alert.

In his address, CM Kumar emphasised that maintaining law and order is the government's top priority. He stressed that there should be no leniency in crime control and that criminals must be brought to justice, regardless of their background. He urged the officers to conduct thorough investigations into the causes behind criminal activities, ensuring that strict action is taken against those responsible, with no discrimination. He further instructed that if any conspiracy is identified behind criminal incidents, it must also be thoroughly investigated, and severe action should follow.
CM Kumar also mentioned that he had directed the authorities to expedite crime investigations and ensure they were completed within the stipulated time, enabling prompt action against the culprits. He called on both the police and administrative officials to work tirelessly to preserve law and order in the state.
The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Mr Deepak Kumar; Chief Secretary, Mr Amrit Lal Meena; Director General of Police, Mr Vinay Kumar; Secretary to the Chief Minister, Mr Anupam Kumar; and Special Officer to the Chief Minister, Mr Gopal Singh.
