Celebrating Human Values: Chennai's Senior Citizens Lead the Way for a Plastic-Free Future
Over 200 senior citizens recently demonstrated that age is no barrier to action by actively participating in the "Walk for Plastic" event organized by En Chennai Young Chennai, an initiative by The Idea Factory and Earth + Air. Now in its third season, the event saw seniors taking a powerful stand against plastic pollution, showing their commitment to creating a cleaner and healthier environment for future generations.
The 2 km walk, starting from Anna Nagar Tower Park, was a heartwarming display of community spirit and environmental consciousness. Participants, with unwavering enthusiasm, showcased the true essence of human values, inspiring everyone present to make a difference in their own way.

This initiative beautifully highlights how senior citizens, with their wisdom and experience, continue to play a vital role in shaping a better world. Their active involvement in such events serves as a powerful reminder that every individual, irrespective of age, has the power to create positive change.
