Bihar: All India Civil Services Music, Dance, Short Play Competition 2024-25 Commences From February 25
Patna: Under the aegis of the Bihar Secretariat Sports Foundation and under the guidance of the Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board, Government of India, the 'All India Civil Services Music, Dance, and Short Play Competition 2024-25' is being organised from 25th February 2025 to 3rd March 2025 at Urja Auditorium, Rajvanshi Nagar, Patna, Bihar.
A total of 18 teams from various states are participating in this event, with approximately 750 contestants taking part.

The unique aspect of this competition is that all participants are government officials, who will present performances in various artistic disciplines.
The Chief Guest for this grand event will be the Chief Secretary of Bihar, Amritlal Meena, while the Special Guest will be Bihar's Development Commissioner, Pratyay Amrit, who will grace the occasion. The inauguration ceremony is scheduled for 5:30 PM on 25th February 2025 at Urja Auditorium, Rajvanshi Nagar, Patna.
The competition will be held across multiple cultural categories. The short play competition will take place from 25th to 27th February, the music competition will run from 28th February to 2nd March, and the dance competition will be held on 3rd March. Events will be organised in various categories, including short plays, Hindustani music, Carnatic music, Western singing, folk singing, and instrumental music.
Outstanding performances by civil service officials across all categories will be recognised and awarded. Prizes will be distributed for the best actor, actress, singer, and other artistic disciplines.
The Chairman of the organising committee is Pranav Kumar, Secretary of the Department of Art, Culture & Youth, while the Secretary of the organising committee is Rahul Kumar, Special Secretary of the Finance Department.
The event is being organised by the cultural division of the Bihar Secretariat Sports Foundation under the aegis of the Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board, operating under the Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India.
To ensure the smooth execution of the event, the presence of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, and ambulance drivers has been arranged throughout the competition.
