Breakthrough in Patna blast case
Patna, Nov 2: In what could prove to be a big breakthrough in the Patna serial blasts that occurred on Oct 27 in Gandhi Maidan, a report carried out in the Times Now says that a state government official will be quizzed in connection to the case.

According to the report, the son of a government official in Bihar was likely in contact with Tabish, one of the key suspects held.

The report suggests that there were SMSes exchanged between the government official's son and Tabish and Tabish even stayed in their residence days before the blast took place.

Report: Tabish stayed in the govt official's house

Tabish, one of the suspects in the Patna blasts was arrested by the NIA and is currently in their custody.

The Oct 27 serial blasts in Patna had sent the intelligence agencies and the political fraternity into a tizzy. The blasts took place just hours before BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi was to address a rally in Gandhi Maidan.
