Nitish Kumar: My decision to step down was not an emotional one

Nitish Kumar today met the Bihar Governor and said that he would stick to his decision and resign. "My decision isn't taken in a wave of emotions, it was my moral responsibility to take this decision," he told while addressing the reporters.
He also added that he would continue to do good work for the state. "I consulted other party members, explained my decision and now everyone is proud of my decision. We will form the government and will continue doing good work for the state," he said.
Kumar said that his decision to step down was not an ‘emotional one.' Hitting out at Narendra Modi he said ‘voters fell prey to the hype created by Narendra Modi.'
Bihar will get its new Chief Minister tomorrow, May 20.
