Nirbhaya re-run in Bihar; 21-year-old gangraped

Patna: In a horrific incident a girl was allegedly gangraped in Motihari, Bihar. The crime, a gruesome reminder of the 2012 gangrape case of Nirabhaya was reported from the state on Thursday.

According to reports, the 21-year-old woman was brutally gangraped and her private parts were mutilated by inserting pistol and wooden objects.

Earlier also, the victim was sexually assaulted by a local resident, Samiullah who made a video of the crime.

The victim was being blackmailed by her molesters who then attacked her with a blade and other objects. Reports suggest that she was gangraped as an act of revenge.

The girl was found lying naked and was admitted to nearby hospital in critical condition.

Her family members alleged that despite a complaint being registered, police had not taken any action.

The accused were still on the run.
