Lalu Prasad spending time watching TV in jail, no work for him yet
The court had given Prasad rigorous imprisonment which means he has to work in the jail. The authorities at Birsa Minda Jail said no work has been fixed for him so far. They said the decision would be taken once the court gives its ruling on Prasad seeking a bail. The veteran politician could be asked to teach other inmates, said jail sources.

Prasad is staying in a separate cell and he has a separate cook to prepare his food. He is also meeting several people everyday in the jail, including ministers and MLAs.
Meanwhile, a public interest litigation has been filed against Prasad leading a comfortable jail life. In the PIL, it has been said that a VIP prisoner can meet visitors just once in a fortnight but the rule is not being followed in case of Lalu Prasad.
