Fire in SBI head office in Bihar

Patna, Oct 16: Computers and other articles worth around Rs 25 lakh were gutted in a fire due to short circuit in the head office of State Bank of India (SBI) here today, fire services sources said.

The fire service had received information at around 7 am following which three fire tenders were rushed and the flames were doused in about an hour, Fire Station Master Sipahi Singh said.

Computers, furniture and other articles valued at around Rs 25 lakh were gutted in the fire. There was no report of any casaulty, he added. SBI head office is located at Gandhi Maidan.
