Bihar results: Nitish Kumar wins hearts in Bihar, set to return as CM
Patna, Nov 8: Nitish Kumar on Sunday thanked the people of Bihar for their overwhelming support to the grand alliance.
Election Commission of India said that the Grand Alliance was way ahead with leads in 91 constituencies, out of 243 seats in the Bihar assembly. The BJP-led alliance was leading in 52 seats.

Many political leaders like Mamata Banerjee, Arvind Kejriwal and others congratulated Kumar on his win. Meanwhile, prime minister Narendra Modi called up Kumar and congratulated him on poll victory.
Nitish Kumar thanked PM Modi in a tweet and said: "Just received a phone call from the Prime Minister congratulating me."
